Grapefruit Amaro Spritz

This grapefruit amaro spritz is the definition of citrusy and floral — the bitters really bring out the hibiscus and underlying grapefruit notes of the Lo-Fi Aperitifs Gentian Amaro. I’m trying to start a movement to make January official spritz season!

The Gibson

The Gibson is for all of those who have more of a savory than sweet-tooth, so if you’re one to love traditional dirty martinis (think bleu-cheesed stuffed olives, YUM!), this classic cocktail is right up your alley. And hey, I love a drink with a snack.

They specialize in bitters, salt, and chocolate, and flowers (what’s not to love), and I had to have these Yuzu Bitters by Miracle Mile. If you ever have the chance to visit this store in New York (they even have a location in Portland, OR!), definitely go! You won’t be disappointed.

This maple mezcal sour is bright, silky, and smokey.

Amaro Sour

What I love about this is the fact that you can use any amaro that you love. For mine, I used Amaro Montenegro, with flavors like orange zest, vanilla, coriander, and clove — which is perfect for a Christmas Day sipper.

Gingerbread Eggnog
