Mom's Garden
I call this one “mom’s garden,” because growing up she had the most amazing home grown cherry tomatoes and an absolute gorgeous raspberry bush! With all of this warm weather we’re getting, there’s nothing more nostalgic for me than picking fresh tomatoes or raspberries after a day of hanging outside in the sun.
Ingredients:
• 3 cherry tomatoes, sliced & muddled
• ¾ oz raspberry syrup
• ¾ oz lime juice
• spicy bitters (to taste)
• ¾ oz mezcal
• 1½ oz tequila blanco
• garnish: cherry tomato
Directions:
Slice the cherry tomatoes and add them your cocktail shaker with raspberry syrup and lime juice to muddle. Add bitters, mezcal, and tequila, along with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a thin slice of a cherry tomato.
