The Easter bunny came early for this one! This carrot cocktail is so festive, complex, and absolutely bonkers 🥕 Remind me to use carrot juice more often…
Ingredients:
• ¾ oz cinnamon syrup
• ¾ oz lemon juice
• 1½ oz carrot juice
• ¾ oz ginger liqueur
• 1½ oz gin
• garnish: baby carrot + fresh nutmeg
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with baby carrot and freshly grated nutmeg.
CINNAMON SYRUP:
To make the cinnamon syrup, combine ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup of water, and 2 cinnamon sticks to a sauce pot. Bring to medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Remove cinnamon sticks and store in an airtight container the refrigerator (will last about 2-3 weeks).
