Spicy Pineapple Margarita
The ELITE margarita in my opinion: it’s hot. It’s velvety. It’s tropical. It’s strong. It’s… The spicy pineapple margarita. And it really doesn’t get much better than this.
Ingredients:
2-3 jalapeño slices
1 oz lime juice
¼ oz agave (optional: just for added sweetness!)
2 oz pineapple juice
¾ oz Cointreau
2 oz tequila
1 egg white (optional)
garnish: Tajin, pineapple leaves, jalapeño slice
Directions:
Run a lime wedge along the rim of a rocks glass and coat with Tajin. Set aside.
Combine jalapeño slices, lime juice, and agave (if using) into a cocktail shaker and muddle.
Add pineapple juice, cointreau, tequila, ice, and shake vigorously for approximately thirty seconds, until chilled.
Once chilled, remove ice, add egg white, and shake again — vigorously, until a frothy head forms.
Strain into rimmed rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with pineapple leaves and a jalapeño slice.
