Taki Margarita

GLASSWARE: THRIFTED ROCKS GLASS

This process was super interesting, and I was actually extremely impressed with the final product! It had a great amount of spice and a ✨hint✨ of corn which I’m surprised came through. Overall, I actually recommend making this is you’re a fan of Takis. It’s delicious!

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz agave syrup

  • juice of 1 lime (about 1 oz)

  • ¾ oz triple sec

  • 2 oz Taki-infused tequila (recipe below)

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a Taki for fun!

TAKI-INFUSED TEQUILA

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of tequila blanco (about ¾ full)

  • About 1½ cups of Takis

Directions:

  1. Add the Takis in the bottle of tequila and let it infuse for about three days.

  2. Strain the tequila through cheesecloth over a fine mesh sieve. You’ll notice some residual oils left over from the chips — pour the tequila into a mason jar and freeze overnight.

  3. After frozen, run it through another filtering process (you could even use a coffee filter to get a really fine strain).
