Pomegranate Paloma

This holiday riff off of a standard Paloma is so refreshing and quenching. Traditionally, grapefruit juice and grapefruit soda is used, but for a winter sipper, I decided to go with pomegranate.

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz agave (maple syrup would also be good!)

  • ¾ oz lime juice

  • 2 oz pomegranate juice

  • 2 oz tequila blanco

  • club soda* (you could get creative here; try experimenting with different citrus sodas!)

  • garnish: lime wheel + pomegranate seeds

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker, combine agave, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and tequila. Add ice and shake. Strain over fresh ice into a collins glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel and pomegranate seeds.
