Butterscotch White Russian

glassware: thrifted rocks glass

If you’ve had a bottle of butterscotch schnapps sitting in the back of your liquor cabinet for too long, this is your sign to make this SALTED. CARAMEL. BUTTERSCOTCH. WHITE. RUSSIAN. I know. It’s a lot. And to be honest, if you’re not new around here, you know I’m not even a huge fan of sweet drinks… But this… This is different. This is dessert. There’s always room for dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz coffee liqueur

  • 1 oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps

  • 1 oz heavy cream

  • garnish: caramel rim + flakey salt

Directions:

  1. Rim a rocks glass with caramel and sprinkle with flakey salt. Set aside.

  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine coffee liqueur, vodka, and butterscotch schnapps. Add ice and shake for thirty seconds.

  3. Strain over ice in rimmed rocks glass and top with heavy cream.
