The Forbidden Root

Radishes in cocktails are slept on imo!!! It has such a unique, peppery and earthy flavor that really adds a kick to this lil cocktail, The Forbidden Root.

INGREDIENTS!

  • 1 radish, roughly chopped

  • ¾ oz simple syrup

  • ¾ oz grapefruit juice

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • 1 oz Aperol

  • 2 oz gin (Hendrick’s)

  • garnish: radish stem + root

DIRECTIONS:

Add chopped radish, simple, grapefruit juice, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add Aperol and gin, along with ice, and shake until chilled. Double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with radish stem and root.
