Reese's & Chocolate Old Fashioned

In adulthood, not as many tricks, but still tons of treats! Time to pair our favorite Halloween candy with a simple classic cocktail: the old fashioned. Reese’s proves that peanut butter and chocolate are meant to be, and pairs so well when enjoyed with an old fashioned.

Substituting traditional aromatic bitters for some chocolate bitters will enhance the cocoa flavor. The nutty and rich peanut butter washes down perfectly with whiskey, and becomes more creamy and viscous. They truly are the perfect pair!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Demerara sugar cube

  • 2 dashes orange bitters

  • 3 dashes chocolate bitters

  • 2 oz bourbon of choice

  • garnish: Reese’s peanut butter cup

Directions:

  1. Add the sugar cube and bitters into a rocks glass and muddle.

  2. Add bourbon, stir, add a large ice cube, and stir again.

  3. Garnish with a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
