Orange Wine Sangria

Had a lil fun w this one bc I think it’s easy to get stressed out with recipes and prep for the holidays 😵‍💫 so here’s your sign to take a breather and make some sangriaaaa for your turkey table !!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle 750ml orange wine (you can also use a white wine!)

  • ½ cup brandy

  • 1 cup pear juice

  • maple syrup to taste

  • 1 diced pear

  • 1 blood orange, sliced

  • 8 cloves + 2 cinnamon sticks, toasted

  • ½ liter sparkling water, to serve*

Directions:

  1. Begin by toasting your spices in a small pan on medium heat until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

  2. Roughly dice your pear and slice the blood orange. Add to a large pitcher along with maple syrup, brandy, pear juice, and the entire bottle of wine.

  3. Add the toasted spices (once cooled) and allow sangria to chill in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 4-6 hours).

  4. To serve, pour into your glass of choice over ice and top with sparkling water.
