Witch's Aviation

I feel like one of the Sanderson sisters whenever I add a little bit of edible glitter and dry ice to this beautiful riff on an Aviation. Substituting the Luxardo Maraschino with Elderflower liqueur gives it a bit more floral sweetness, and the Empress Gin just takes it to that lovely hue of purple that is so needed!

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur

  • ½ oz creme de violette

  • 1½ oz empress gin

  • garnish: dry ice pellet + brandied cherry

Directions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine lemon juice, st-germaine, creme de violette, and empress gin. Add ice and shake

  2. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a dry ice pellet and brandied cherry.

*Wait until dry ice completely stops ‘smoking’ before drinking — it is not safe to ingest while dry ice is still present. Dry ice is safe to use in cocktails and it will not dilute your drink! Be safe and cautious, do not ingest, or touch with your bare hands.
