Smoked Limoncello Spritz

In the summertime, limoncello is always the answer. Whether you’re up for making your own or buying a bottle from the store, this limoncello spritz will hit the spot.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz limoncello

  • 3½ oz Prosecco

  • 1 oz club soda

  • garnish: smoked thyme, lemon wheel

Directions:

  1. Carefully light thyme sprigs with a kitchen blow torch until smoking (you can also use matches, but be extremely careful!). Flip a wine or spritz glass upside down on top of the smoldering thyme to capture the smoke.

  2. After a few minutes, add ice, limoncello, Prosecco, and club soda to the smoked glass.

  3. Garnish with lemon wheels and additional thyme sprigs.
