Mezcal Sunrise

This has all of those yummy summer flavors wrapped up into one, tall drink. We’ve got tangy, bright, smokey, sweet, spicy. I, personally, don’t think I could ask for anything more!? If you’re not a mezcal lover, it’s super easy to just swap out the mezcal for some tequila.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 3 oz freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 2 oz mezcal

  • 5-7 drops spicy bitters

  • ½ oz grenadine

  • garnish: orange slice, brandied cherry

Directions:

Add lime juice, orange juice, mezcal, and spicy bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain in a tall glass over crushed ice, top with more crushed ice, and drizzle the grenadine on top. Garnish with an orange slice and a brandied cherry.
