Dante's Margarita Royale

If you ever get the chance to visit the infamous Dante here in New York City, DO IT! Opened in 1915, it’s a staple serving up delicious cocktails. Go for the Margarita Royale, stay for the martinis.

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz agave

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1½ oz tangerine juice

  • ¾ oz dry curaçao

  • 1½ oz tequila blanco

  • prosecco*

  • garnish: black lava salt + orange slice

Directions:

  1. Add tangerine juice to a. high powered blender and blend until “fluffy.” This works best with freshly squeezed juice! Set aside.

  2. Rim your glass with black lava salt. Set aside.

  3. In a cocktail shaker, add agave, lime juice, dry curaçao, and tequila. Add ice and shake for approximately thirty seconds, until chilled.

  4. Strain into the salt-rimmed rocks glass over fresh ice.

  5. Top with fluffy tangerine juice and Prosecco.

  6. Garnish with an orange slice.
