Chai Bee's Knees

Back in my moody era bc this chilly weather has me feeling some type of way 🫶 this Chai Bee’s Knees has all of those familiar, spicy fall flavors that’ll getcha feelin’ moody with me hehe

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz chai honey syrup (recipe below)

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 2 oz dry gin

  • garnish: cinnamon sugar rim

Directions:

Rim a coupe or nick&nora glass with cinnamon sugar and set aside in the freezer to chill. Add chai honey syrup, lemon juice, and gin into your cocktail shaker with a good amount of ice and shake until chilled. Double strain into glass.


CHAI HONEY SYRUP

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup honey

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 inch peeled and smashed ginger

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 star anise pods

  • 4 cardamom pods

  • 10 black peppercorns

  • 6 whole cloves

  • 3 whole all spice berries

Directions:

Add honey and water and all spices into a sauce pan and heat on medium low until honey dissolves, and let spices steep on very low heat for about 20 minutes. Let syrup cool completely and strain out spices. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month!
