Celery Gimlet
A very lovely and herbal riff on a gimlet to get ya greens in! Adding the small touches of both the salt and the white wine vinegar really brighten up this cocktail — don’t knock it til ya try it!
Ingredients:
5 inch celery rib, sliced
½ oz lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
pinch of salt
1½ oz dry gin
½ oz green chartreuse
2 dashes of white wine vinegar
4 dashes celery bitters
garnish: leafy celery rib
Directions:
Slice the celery and add it to a cocktail shaker along with lime juice, simple syrup, and salt. Muddle.
Add green chartreuse, gin, white wine vinegar, and celery bitters.
Add ice and shake until chilled.
Double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a leafy celery rib.
