Cardamom Vodka Flip

Happy Easter! I’m not one for super sweet cocktails, but something about this holiday makes me want to indulge in as many sweets as possible… and why not add an ✨entire egg✨?

This cocktail reminds me a bit of a spring time eggnog, and it’s so good with the hint of cardamom notes.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cardamom pods

  • ½ oz simple syrup

  • ¾ oz chocolate liqueur

  • 1½ oz vanilla vodka

  • 1 pasteurized egg

  • garnish: grated chocolate

Directions:

Muddle the cardamom pods in the bottom of a shaker tin. Add simple syrup, chocolate liqueur, and vanilla vodka. Add ice and shake. Strain out ice, add entire egg, and shake again.
Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into your favorite stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with grated chocolate of choice.
