Matcha Margarita

You guys have been LOVING the matcha cocktails recently — we’ve all seen and loved the Matcha Martini, but this Matcha Margarita may have taken its place. It’s such an easy addition that gives this classic a bit of mellow grassiness and a touch of bitterness. So good!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bar spoon matcha

  • ½ oz agave syrup

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz triple sec

  • 2 oz tequila blanco

  • garnish: salt rim + lime wheel

Directions:

  1. Rim a rocks glass with flakey salt and put it in the freezer while you build your cocktail.

  2. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and whisk with a handheld frother (make sure to sift your matcha).

  3. Add ice and shake until chilled.

  4. Double strain into prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.

  5. Garnish with with a lime wheel.
