Pineapple Lime Smash
Summer whiskey drinks have always been a staple in my life, and this cocktail has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first big collaboration I had with a reputable brand: The Glenlivet. Their summer whiskey cocktails are all equally delectable, however, this one just happens to be my favorite.
Ingredients:
2 oz The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve (or any scotch-whiskey)
1½ oz pineapple juice
2 lime wedges
½ oz simple syrup
8 mint leaves
garnish: pineapple leaves + lime wheel
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for approximately thirty seconds, until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a few pineapple leaves and a lime wheel.
