Ginger Yuzu Hot Toddy

Happy National Hot Toddy day! It’s officially way below freezing today in NYC, so it’s a perfect time to celebrate. This is a spin on a more traditional toddy, and I added a bit of Haus’ Ginger Yuzu aperitif!

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz honey

  • ½ oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz orange juice

  • 1 oz Haus Ginger Yuzu

  • 1 oz bourbon

  • hot water*

  • garnish: cinnamon stick + clove studded lemon wheel

Directions:

  1. Add hot water to your mug to temper the glass. Let it sit for a few minutes and dump the excess water (or save it to drink/make ice cubes later!).

  2. Into the same mug, add honey, lemon juice, orange, ginger yuzu, bourbon, and hot water. Stir to incorporate.

  3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and clove-studded lemon wheel. Enjoy the warmth!
