Daiquiri of Dreams

No better way to celebrate National Rum Day than with this riff on the classic Banana Daiquiri! The addition of pineapple juice and orgeat allows it to lean more towards tiki-style, and it’s one of those cocktails you’ll want to make before the summer’s over.

Although, I think this might hold up well over the holidays with a few tweaks — stay tuned! ;)

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz orgeat

  • ¾ oz lime juice

  • ½ oz pineapple juice

  • ¾ oz banana liqueur

  • 2 oz white rum

  • garnish: grated nutmeg

Directions:

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker along with ice and shake until chilled. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
